cottage 27: Dante
Dante is perched high on the edge of our eastern retreat valley, the furthest cottage out from the main valley and road.
It is a comfortable studio-style timber frame cottage built up on piers, with features such as tongue-in-groove pinewood floors and a breakfast bar made from a single slab of local mesquite.
The wrap-around deck opens out to sweeping mountain views; its railing is constructed from the wooden framework of a Mongolian yurt. There is a small garden for longer-term retreatants interested in horticulture.
Perfect for spring and fall, this cottage is available in winter for the hardy retreater who enjoys brisk outdoor showers.
